What Capofish does with your data, in plain words.
Read the privacy policy (in French)- Your spots are visible to you alone in the app. Their position is encrypted on your phone and sent to the Capofish server, which needs it to calculate. Capofish also offers known spots, chosen by its team, that you can take as your own.

Frequent questions
Where does it work ?
Around Cap Bon and along the Bizerte coast, in Tunisia : Kélibia, El Haouaria and the spots of the coast. Capofish does not cover other regions.
Is it free ?
Yes : the Angler plan is free and gives you the current day. Sailor and Captain open more days and more tools, monthly or yearly, with a free trial period. Prices are shown in Google Play.
What about iPhone ?
Not yet : Capofish is on Android, through Google Play. iPhone is coming.
How does Capofish work it out ?
From the weather, the state of the sea, the tides, the sea bottom and the real trips of anglers. For each spot, it draws the activity hour by hour and the fishing conditions, according to the direction of your cast and the height of the spot. These are estimates : they replace neither your experience nor the safety rules at sea.
Can other people see my spots ?
No. The spots you place are visible to you alone in the app. Their position is encrypted on your phone, then sent to the Capofish server, which needs it to calculate. Capofish also offers known spots, chosen by its team, that you can take as your own.
Do I need a signal at sea ?
Forecasts load when your phone has a signal. The logbook works without one.
How do I cancel a subscription ?
The subscription goes through Google Play : you cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel it.
How do I delete my account ?
In the app : My data → Delete my account, then Delete permanently. Without the app, follow the page Delete your account (in French). Cancel your subscription first.
